How to Play Splinterlands

Splinterlands is a prime example of what a good and polished blockchain game looks like. In this guide, we’ll share with you everything you need to know to get started.

What is Splinterlands?

Designed on the Hive blockchain technology, Splinterlands is a digital collectible card game. As with Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, the concept is similar in that you build up cards, each with their own abilities and stats, that you use to battle other players in skill-based battles. Like actual physical collectible cards, players can trade, buy and sell their stuff on the blockchain.

Unlike the cutesy, Pokemon-inspired monsters in Axie Infinity, this game features a polished collection of hundreds of cards with great-looking artwork that can rival that of physical trading card games. The battle system is snappy and you have the option to speed up or jump into the results. And like Axie Infinity, it also has an Android and iOS version so you can conveniently play on your mobile device.

To start playing Splinterlands, you just need a computer or a mobile device (Android and iOS are supported) with the game installed and an internet connection. Connect to the Splinterlands website and follow the steps for setting up an account.

While it's free-to-play, it's recommended to buy the Splinterlands Spellbook ($10) to earn from the game and enjoy it at its fullest potential.

And to help you do this without a hitch, we’ve created this guide covering all steps and all you need to know to start playing Splinterlands.

What do I need to get started?

  • A computer and internet connection

  • A Hive account and Hive KeyChain

  • $10 for a Spellbook

    • While you can initially play the game for free, you can't save any of your progress as a player and grow your own card collection if you don't have a Spellbook. You can't also earn NFT tokens (Dark Energy Crystals) for battling with other players or completing the daily quests. You won’t receive season rewards (chests awarded at the end of each season). Lastly, you can't buy or rent other cards.

Optional:

  • Credits - You can purchase Credits using PayPal or Cryptocurrency and use it to buy or rent cards.

  • DEC - Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) is the game token you earn from battles and daily quest rewards. This is the primary currency of the game.

  • SPS - Splinterlands Shards (SPS) is the governance token in this game. SPS token holders can stake their assets in-game to further increase the amount of SPS they hold.

How to Download and Install Splinterlands (Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS)

For PC (Windows) and Mac, you don’t have to download the game since you only need to visit the game’s official website. Simply launch your web browser and follow the steps mentioned in the next section below.

For mobile users (Android and iOS), you can visit the Google Play Store and Apple App Store to download the official versions of the game. Install the game as you would any other regular app.

How to Sign-up for Splinterlands

Signing up for Splinterlands is fairly quick and easy.

You can do it two ways:

1. By signing up via email

2. Connecting your crypto wallet into the game - Hive Keychain, Wax, Wombat, Metamask, and Arkane Network all work so if you have any of these wallet, simply click on the appropriate button and you’re all set.

Splinterlands registration via email:

Step 1: Visit Splinterlands.com and click “Play Now”

Step 2: Click “Create Account”

Step 3: Enter your email address twice.

Step 4: You will receive a confirmation in your email along with instructions on the next step.

Step 5: This would include instructions for setting up your Hive wallet.

How To Start Playing Splinterlands

Congrats! You're now all set to play. Pretty easy, huh?

The first thing that you have to do is buy a Spellbook. While you can practice with decks without owning a Spellbook, you won’t get to try the play-to-earn functionality and ability to earn your own cards.

You can purchase a Spellbook by using PayPal or in-game supported cryptocurrency (SPS, DEC).

Now that you have a Splinterlands spell book, it's time to actually play the game.

There are two types of cards: Summoner cards and monster cards.

A summoner card is your "leader" in the battlefield. Each summoner is equipped with special abilities that you can use to help your monsters win in combat.

Monster cards are your "soldiers" in the battlefield.

A monster can have one of these 3 different types of attack:

  • Melee Attack

  • Ranged Attack

  • Magic Attack

The goal of the game is to wipe out all the monsters of your enemy. Pretty simple, huh?

But while gameplay is pretty straightforward, the actual strategizing and deck building part is what makes Splinterlands such an addicting game. It really flexes your mental muscles to come up with a solid combination of summoner and monsters that can effectively take out your enemy's cards.

Splinterlands Game Modes

There are 4 different game modes available in Splinterlands. Each one is useful in certain scenarios and you should definitely check each one out. Whether you’re building a new deck, testing a strategy, or feel like competing with others in a tournament format, the game offers more than enough game modes to tickle your fancy.

Ranked Battles

Compete against other players. The goal here is to gain experience by winning matches and rank up through the various league tiers until you reach the highest level (if you want). As you move up higher in leagues, you'll get more DEC rewards for each battle won as well as more loot chests at the end of the season.

Practice Mode

In this mode, you can practice creating teams before entering into actual ranked battles. I'd like to think of this mode as the "deck builder" feature of the game as it allows me to try out combinations and strategies and test them in an actual battle.

Challenge Mode

You can challenge a friend to a custom battle. This will not affect your rankings in the leaderboard. This could be a good way to stress test a particular deck since you can do it with a friend and both of you can analyze all sorts of strategies in this mode without worrying about ranks or points.

Tournament

There are multiple tournaments sponsored every day, and most are open for anyone to run and participate. It requires a certain DEC fee to join. If you want to experience a tourney-style exhibition this is a great mode to try. Plus, you can earn a significant amount of DEC if you rank high enough in the final ladder results.

It might be a good idea to check out the cards section to get acquainted with how to "read" the card stats. This is crucial since your strategy will revolve around mixing and matching monsters to get the best combination for a particular fight.

And to help you with that, here's an easy-to-read rundown of the card mechanics, rules of combat, and gameplay of Splinterlands.

Splinterlands Gameplay Guide

How to Earn from Splinterlands

Unlike other newer NFT-games with just 1-2 actual Play-to-earn mechanics, Splinterlands offers up to 5 ways to earn money from playing the game. Let’s take a closer look at each one.

Daily Quests

Daily quests refresh everyday upon completing them. These are simply battles that you must win under a certain condition.

Battle Rewards

Whenever you win against another player, you get awarded with Dark Energy Crystals. The amount you’ll get will consider your Energy Capture Rate (ECR) at the time of your win. The ECR limits how much DEC a player can earn from each battle. Say your reward is 5 DEC for a win. At 100% ECR, you’ll get the full 5 DEC. If it goes down to 50% (after fighting a bunch of battles, for example), then you’ll only get 2.5 DEC.

Selling & Renting Out Your Cards

In this game, you can buy or rent summoner cards and monster cards (individually or as card packs). You can also win them by chance as a reward from your daily quests. As you collect more cards, you can earn by selling them, just like you would in an actual trading card game.

You can also rent them out to other players and earn via credits or DEC depending on the number of days they rent it from you. True ownership of these digital assets are possible of course since these cards are NFTs that are in the blockchain.

You can cash out your DEC earnings to your Hive, Steem, Tron, Ethereum, or Binance Smart Chain (BSC) wallets.

Stake and Earn from SPS

In this game, you can stake your SPS tokens to multiply its value based on the game’s current APR. As of this writing, the game is also doing daily Airdrop rewards and it’s dependent on certain factors such as your current DEC holdings, card power, and more.

Win Prizes in Tournaments

The game allows players to set up tourneys across different leagues. Each one has an entry fee in DEC and allows you to win a significant amount of DEC as well depending on your rankings.

Start Playing Splinterlands Today!

I’ve played Splinterlands for a couple of months now and compared to other blockchain-based games I’ve played, this one really shows the most polish. Aside from the easy but addictive gameplay, there’s plenty of stuff that makes players want to keep playing. I’m pretty sure this blockchain game will be around for a long time, and its ones like this which make NFT-games a very promising and exciting platform.

How to Play DeHero

What is DeHero?

DeHero is a decentralized BSC-based GameFi application created by Mix Marvel that uses the concept of “base value NFT”. It is essentially an NFT card game with DeFi features wherein you stake your NFT assets so you can buy and unbox NFT blind boxes and mine cards using various training strategies.

In doing so, you gain DeHero’s main utility token in the game, HEROES. Players can trade cards in the market. In the future, NFT card battles and its DAO community co-governance features will be made available.

How to Earn in DeHero

The main premise of DeHero is to have players earn $HEROES tokens by staking their DeHero NFTs.

There's no actual "gameplay" required to play and earn in DeHero. Simply stake your heroes and receive the corresponding income.

Ideally, you'd want a solid lineup of Heroes since the quality of your collection will affect how much token you'll earn along with the quality of new cards you'll get (aside from staking your cards for $HEROES token, you can also opt to obtain new cards to improve your collection).

The more (and better) cards you have, the higher quality of new cards you'll get from staking.

How to Play DeHero

  • To play DeHero, you have to install a crypto wallet such as MetaMask or TokenPocket.
  • You’ll need it to store the HEROES token required to purchase NFTs and play the game. You’ll also need a small amount of BNB for gas (miner fee).
  • Go to PancakeSwap and search for the HEROES token using the below address:

DeHero “HEROES” token address:

0x261510Dd6257494eEA1DDA7618DBe8a7b87870dd

  • Once you have HEROES token, it’s time to visit the official website of the game to purchase your DeHero NFTs.
  • Make sure you're logged-in to your MetaMask or TokenPocket wallet.

How to Buy DeHero NFTs

The first thing that you have to do to play DeHero is to buy HEROES cards (assuming you already have $HEROES tokens in your Metamask or TokenPocket wallet).

These DeHero NFTs are what you will use to mine for $HEROES token or stake to get new (and better) cards.

  1. From the main screen, click the “Shop” button.

  2. It will show you 2 types of card packs: Fortune Package and Lucky Package.

  3. The probability of drawing cards for the two card packs are as follows:

Lucky Card Pack

  • ‌Price: 8 HEROES

  • Number of cards received: 1

  • Rarity: Orange 0.2%, Purple 1%, Blue 3.8%, Green 50%, White 45%

Fortune Card Pack

  • ‌Price: 30 HEROES

  • Number of cards received: 1

  • Rarity: Golden0.03%,Orange 5.47%, Purple 46.5%, Blue 48%.

Other Ways to Obtain DeHero NFT Cards

  • Stake $HEROES token

  • Trading NFT cards with other users

How to Stake in DeHero to Get New Cards

In DeHero, you can stake your Heroes in order to get new NFT cards that feature different qualities. What you’ll get will depend on the number of your staked heroes (the more the better).

DeHero Staking Probability:

  • DeHero card quality is ranked from low to high as follows: white, green, blue, purple, orange, and gold.
  • The quality of cards you’ll get depends on the HEROES stakes amount:
  • How much income you’ll get from card mining will be determined by the ratio of the total fighting capacity of the card (similar to power levels) to the fighting capacity of the whole server.

Total combat capacity = Total fighting capacity per NFT card X (1 + proportional card collectibles bonus)

DeHero Card Combination

In this game, you can mix and match your DeHero cards to form various card combinations. Certain combinations will yield better fighting capacity which will result in better card mining.

There is also a feature called “Card Collectibles Bonus”, which is essentially a bonus awarded to your card set’s fighting capacity if it matches a specific number. You’ll receive the corresponding bonuses (number on the right side) if your cards reach a certain number (left):

  • 12 = +10%

  • 24 = 20%

  • 36 = 30%

  • 48 = 40%

  • 60 = 50%

  • 72 = 60%

  • 84 = 70%

  • 96 = 80%

  • 108 = 100%

How to Level-up Your DeHero Card Slot

The DeHero NFT cards you get will need to be placed into their corresponding card slots to earn tokens or new cards. This section is dedicated to explaining why you should consider leveling up your card slot for maximum potential gains.

DeHero card slots can be leveled-up. The higher the level the card slot, the more bonus power you'll get which in turn will yield you more $HEROES tokens or better cards from staking.

To level up up your DeHero card slot, you have to meet the experience required on each level. Here's a table for reference:

Note that the card you used to level-up a card slot will be destroyed, and the number of $HEROES you have inside it will be released within the next 120 hours. You can view the $HEROES you get back from this on the Card tab.

How to Earn in Mir4

MIR4 is an Asian fantasy MMORPG that is free-to-play and can be played on both PC and mobile devices (iOS and Android). But what makes it different from traditional MMORPG games is its play-to-earn feature, similar to popular NFT games like Axie Infinity, Splinterlands, and Crypto Blades.

In this article, we’ll show you the steps and everything you need to know to earn real-world money in Mir 4.

Earn Money in Mir 4 by Mining Darksteel

Darksteel is an essential in-game resource of MIR4 that can be smelted (transformed) into DRACO, the game's utility token. Once you have DRACO, you can convert it into different cryptocurrencies that you can exchange into real-world cash.

You obtain Darksteel by having your character go to a certain area in the map and literally mine patches of ore with a pick-axe. You can harvest a certain amount of Darksteel for a specific amount of time.

Now, you can’t exchange Dark Steel yet into actual earnings in the real world. You have to convert it first to DRACO, which is the main utility token in Mir 4.

What is DRACO?

Draco is the utility token of MIR4. It's what you ultimately "earn" and convert to real-world money from using the game's play-to-earn feature. You can use DRACO to buy in-game assets (items, weapons, etc.,). You can also withdraw DRACO and use it to trade or buy in other platforms outside of the game (similar to utility tokens of other NFT games).

How to get DRACO?

As mentioned earlier, you first need to obtain Darksteel through mining certain spots in the game. Once you have enough, you can then convert it to DRACO via the Smelt section.

How much Darksteel will you need to get 1 DRACO?

It depends on the exchange rate of Darksteel per DRACO. It's referred to as "DERBY" or Daily Exchange Rate By Yield. The DERBY will be computed by adding 100,000 Darksteel plus the Yield. Here's the formula for Derby in MIR4:

Note: You can view the day's DERBY and DRACO price by going to this page.

Steps for getting Darksteel in MIR4

1. After installing the game, you need to level up your character first to level 40. This is the minimum level required to mine Darksteel in MIR4. The higher the level, the better. This is because there are certain Darksteel mining spots in the game that can only be accessed at specific levels.

2. Do quests and missions. You can quickly obtain a few thousand Darksteel by completing quests and missions. They are given as rewards.

3. Go to Bicheon Valley. This area in the game is considered as one of the most popular spots for mining Darksteel. If you try to access this when you're character is below level 20, you won't see this option.

4. Launch the Global Map by clicking the "Town" button at the upper right of your main screen (when in-game). Next, select the Bicheon Area. It should be in the lower right corner. After clicking Bicheon Valley, select your desired floor (it's broken down into 4 levels, 1F, 2F, 3F and 4F).

5. Select "Gathering Grounds and Quarry" on the right side. Then, select "Dark Steel Mining Site". The area where you can mine Darksteel will then show up in the map.

6. Once you're in the level you chose, you can then start looking for Darksteel mining spots. Simply click on the yellow pickaxe icon on top of the mining patch to start mining.

Mir 4 Darksteel Mining Tips

1. When you can, go to the 4F levels of mining areas. This is where you can get the highest amount of Darksteel.

2. Customize your Combat Settings. In MIR4, you can leave your character in auto-mining mode so you can go AFK and still earn as much Darksteel as you can. However, there's a good chance that other players will attack you while mining so they can steal your spot. It sucks, but it's allowed in the game (at least right now). Here are some tips if you want to maximize your mining time in MIR4 while in AFK or auto-mode.

  • Set "Attack Back when Hit" to OFF. Other players will either attack you or lure monsters to attack you in order to steal your mining spot. If you're on AFK and this setting is turned ON, your character will fight back when monsters attack you, thus making it possible for other players to steal your Darksteel patch. So, best to turn this off if you want to go in auto-mining mode.
  • Set "Auto-return when Resurrected" to ON. So that when your character dies, it will automatically resurrect back to the same spot. Reduces time to get back to mining.
  • Set "Auto-use HP potions" to 100%. This will help your character avoid death when you're AFK and you have other players or monsters attacking you.
  • If other players are being super A-holes, consider changing mining spots. Sometimes it might not be worth it holding a mining area if other players are being a pain-the-ass and won't stop trolling.
  • Orange mining patches provide the highest amount of Darksteel.

How to Cash Out DRACO to GCash or Coins.PH

After mining Darksteel and converting it to DRACO, the next step is to withdraw it out of your WeMix wallet so you can send it to your local e-wallets like GCash or Coins. Here's a brief overview of the steps.

1. The short version looks like this: WeMix wallet -> Gate.IO -> Binance -> GCash or Coins.PH

2. Note that you'll have to meet the minimum amount of DRACO balance before you can withdraw it out of your WeMix wallet.

3. In your WeMix wallet, select DEX (you should see it below your DRACO token after selecting DRACO).

4. It will redirect to the trading page for DRACO which looks like your typical exchange page in other crypto wallets. Click the "Sell" tab. Set the amount of DRACO you want to sell. Once done, click the "Sell" button at the bottom. Make sure to select the Order price on the left side and confirm the amounts before hitting Sell.

5. Once done, your DRACO tokens will be converted to WeMix credits.

6. The next step is to convert your WeMix credits to WeMix token. The exchange rate between WeMix Credits and WeMix token is 1:1.

7. In your WeMix wallet, select "WeMix Credit". On the next page, click Exchange to WeMix.

8. Enter the amount of WeMix credit you want to cash out or simply click "Max" to automatically input all your WeMix credits. Click Next.

9. You'll be asked to enter your password. Once done, it will show a progress screen saying "Exchange in Progress". Once done, you will see on the main page of your wallet that you now have WeMix token balance (earlier the balance was on WeMix credits before the swap).

Depositing WeMix Tokens to Gate.IO

10. The next step is to send your withdraw your WeMix token outside of your WeMix wallet. In this case, we will send it to your Gate.IO wallet.

11. To do this, click the WeMix token in your wallet. On the next screen, choose "Send Token".

12. Open your Gate.IO account and go to Wallet. Select the Deposit option.

13. In the Coin selection, click the dropdown arrow then type WeMix to look for the WeMix coin.

14. Click the "Copy" button below the QR code. Go back to your WeMix wallet then click "Paste". Your Gate.IO deposit code will automatically appear above the "Search ID" box. Double check the ID to make sure it matches what you have in your Gate.IO wallet.

15. Click Next. Hit "Max" to transfer 100%. Click "Transfer". It will ask you to re-enter your password again. Click OK once done.

16. Your token should now be in your Gate.IO wallet after a few seconds/minutes.

17. After reaching this part, you can now convert your WeMix tokens to USDT. In Gate.IO, go to the "Trade" page then search for the WeMix/USDT pair in the upper left corner. You will basically sell your WeMix so you can gain USDT currency.

18. Once it's converted to USDT, you now have two options for withdrawing your MIR4 earnings:

  • If you want to cash out via GCash, send your USDT balance in Gate.IO to your Binance wallet. From there you'll have the option to transfer your balance to GCash. Search YT for guides on how to do this if you don't know how to do it yet.
  • If you want to cash out via Coins.PH, convert your USDT balance to XRP in the Gate.IO trade screen. Once converted to XRP, you can then open your Coins.PH app to get your XRP deposit address. After copying your Coins.PH XRP address, go back to Gate.IO then click Withdraw. Search for XRP in the Coin Code then paste the code in the XRP Address box. Make sure to enter the Destination Tag as well. Note that the minimum amount of XRP you can transfer is 26.6 XRP so make sure you will reach that amount equivalent in WeMix tokens.

How to Buy DVK for Devikins

I’m a member of both the official Telegram and Discord channels for Devikins and one thing that gets repeatedly asked is “How to buy DVK?”.

In an effort to help future Devikins players, I’m creating this quick guide covering the steps on how to buy DVK for Devikins. I’ve also included a short FAQ section featuring the most oft-asked stuff in the Devikins Discord and TG channels.

What is DVK?

In Devikins, DVK (Devicoin) is used as the primary currency. Devicoins are a form of crypto currency that can be traded with other cryptocurrencies in the real world and can eventually be exchanged for traditional money.

Once the game is launched, you can acquire DVK through the following methods:

  • Playing Devikins and fulfilling in-game missions

  • Earning in the Weekly League competition

  • Earning by completing Scavenger Missions

  • Exchanging them in Crypto Exchanges

  • Selling Devikins NFT in the marketplace

  • Staking them with initial 16% APR

When will Devikins NFTs be released?

The initial release date is September 7th 2021, 3PM UTC (11PM in Manila).

Where can I buy Devikins NFT?

Visit www.devikins.com and there will be a dedicated web shop on the website. You will have to link a Tron wallet using a browser extension so you can purchase using your DVK tokens.

Alternatively, if you have a Klever wallet, you can use its built-in browser and launch www.devikins.com. It will automatically link your Klever wallet into the Devikins website.

What do I need to purchase Devikins NFTs?

You need to have DVK tokens to buy Devikins NFTs. As of the moment, DVK is only available via Klever Exchange and Klever Wallet. It’s not available via Metamask, Pancakeswap, or Binance (and other similar platforms).

Steps on How to Buy DVK Tokens for Devikins

  1. Install Klever Exchange or Klever Wallet on your Android mobile device. For iOS users, get it from the App Store. Here’s a YT guide for installing Klever and creating an account.

Klever Wallet Tutorial - How To Create A Klever Wallet Account | Send And Receive Cryptos (Tron)

  1. You need to fund your Klever Exchange or Klever Wallet with TRX. You do this by transferring funds from platforms like Binance, CoinBase, Gate.IO, and others. Check out the video below (skip to time stamp 1:35) for a guide on how to deposit cryptocurrency into your Klever wallet.

How to DEPOSIT or WITHDRAW on Klever App | Tron Wallet Tutorial

3. Once you have TRX funds in your Klever wallet, it’s time to swap it to KLV.

4. In the Klever Wallet app, click the Swap button at the bottom. In the Swap section, search for TRX and KLV (see image above). This action will let you swap a specific number of TRX tokens you want to change to DVK.  Click the 100% option if you want to change all of it to DVK. Convert it to 100% only if you will be transferring TRX balance later for your gas fees. Otherwise, leave at least 20 TRX for gas fees. You’ll need it when purchasing Devikins NFTs.

5. Once the swap is complete, you should now be able to see the DVK token balance in your wallet.

Is there a limit on how many Devikins I can buy?

No, you can buy as many as you want. There is no whitelisting needed too. Simply connect your wallet via the methods mentioned above and buy using the steps shown. You can buy Devikins NFT in packs of 1, 4, or 10. You pay gas fees per pack you buy.

You won’t need a “Devikins account” to buy NFTs or play the game. You just connect your TRX wallet or Klever Wallet (launch the built-in browser then connect to the Devikins website). From there you can start buying Devikins.

If you bought DVK from Klever Exchange, make sure to send it to your Klever Wallet (or TRX wallet that’s not from a CEX) first because you can’t purchase Devikins NFTs from Klever Exchange.

How much is the price of a Devikins NFT?

As quoted in the Devikins TG channel:

“It depends on the circulating supply. The more NFTs, the more expensive they are. The starting price is 3 USD in DVK. So, if DVK is $0.01, NFT at start price is 300 DVK, if DVK is $0.015, NFT at start price is 200 DVK. So, if DVK is $1, I will pay only 3 DVK at the start price.”

At what stage does the NFT come?

Embryo. In the game, a Devikin goes through three stages of development. Embryo, Toddler, and Adult.

Do I know all my NFT attributes and genes if my NFT is in the Embryo Stage?

Yes, the web viewer always shows the NFT on the Adult stage with information on gene rarity, affinity values, personality, and base attributes even though it is at the Embryo Stage.

Devikins Soft Mint and Hard Mint Explained

Devikin minting begins with Soft Mint. In this step, Devikin is still stored in the game server and linked to the owner's wallet, but it has not yet been added to Tron's blockchain. Therefore, no gas fees are charged at this point.

When a Soft Mint is created, NFTs can't be transferred to another wallet, they can't be sold on the market, nor can they be imported by third party platforms.

Minting an NFT on the Tron blockchain is called Hard Minting.

An NFT that has been hard minted is transferable between Tron wallets and can be sold on the Tron marketplace, but has a gas fee associated with it.

Soft Mint can be considered as a prerequisite of Hard Mint. To get hard mint your Devikins NFT, you first must have it go through the Soft Mint stage. All NFT start in the Soft Mint stage. You can then pick a Soft Mint and lock it into a Hard Mint status by paying a fee.

Can I buy hard minted NFTs?

Not directly from the Devikins shop. You can buy hard-minted NFTs in the marketplace.

What's the difference between the Shop and Marketplace?

Shop is where you can buy randomly generated (you can’t determine its rarity or visuals before buying it) NFTs in Soft Mint state.

The Marketplace is where you can buy Hard Minted NFTs from other players. It is a P2P market. Since it's hard-minted already, you can see its rarity and visuals before buying it.

What can I do with my soft-minted Devikins NFT?

You can do 4 things with your soft-minted Devikins NFTs:

  • View their attributes in the webviewer

  • Share the web viewer link with friends and social media

  • Burn 4 soft minted NFTs to cycle for another randomly generated soft minted NFT

  • Pay a fee to turn it into a hard minted NFT

What can I do with my hard-minted Devikins NFT?

You can do 5 things with your hard-minted Devikins NFTs:

  • Check their attributes in the webviewer

  • Share the web viewer link with friends and social media

  • Transfer it to another TRX wallet

  • Post it for sale in the marketplace (when the marketplace goes live)

  • Use it in the game (when the game gets released)

How do I turn my Devikins Soft Mint into Hard Mint?

There is a web inventory section inside the devikins website. After connecting your wallet,  all soft and hard minted NFTs you own will be displayed. You can then view your options here for morphing your Devkins NFTs from Soft to Hard Mint.

I heard I need 18 NFTs to fully promote a single Devikin, what does that mean?

Promotions apply to adult Devikins. Once in the Adult Phase, Devikins are immediately promoted to level 1. They can continue leveling all the way to a maximum of 10, and after they reach level 10, you can burn 1 NFT to promote it, making the maximum level 20. This follows until promotion level 10, where the max level is 100. Burn progression between promotions is, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3 - thus 18 NFTs.

Does the burned NFT have any requirement?

Yes, you can only burn hard minted Adult NFTs to promote another Devikin.

Can an NFT change its attributes after Soft Mint?

No. Genes, Affinities, and Personality cannot be changed. Only the Life Stage can be changed inside the Devikins game.

Can I pick which rarity I want to buy in the Shop?

No, you can’t. It is randomly generated.

Can I procreate when NFTs release?

No, you need the Devikins game to be launched first before you can procreate.

When I burn 4 NFTs to cycle a new one, is it guaranteed to get a better one?

No, it is possible to get a better one but it is not guaranteed.

After I Hard Mint an NFT, can I turn it into Soft Mint again?

No, changing from Soft to Hard Mint is an irreversible process. Once you hard-mint your NFT, you can’t change it back to soft-mint.

Can I send my Devikin Hard Mint NFTs to Metamask?

No, you cannot. Devikin NFT is a TRC721 token.

Where will the DVK I use to buy NFT go?

To the Devikins team.

Can I see my NFTs inside the Klever Wallet?

A Guide on Closure of Business in the Philippines

Business closures happen for different reasons — but no matter what caused the business to close, it's important to understand that you can't simply stop operating.

As a business owner or self-employed individual running a freelance business, it's your duty to perform the due diligence required to properly close the business. Your business registration needs to be officially recognized as void, otherwise, you risk facing serious legal and tax consequences.

This article is a guide on how to close a business in the Philippines. You'll learn about the most important elements that make up a proper closure of business. It Includes the steps, time frame, and procedures to ensure a trouble-free closure of business.

Note: If you hired an accountant to file your taxes, it is best to consult with them first for guidance.

What is Closure of Business?

A business closure is the result of a company or organization shutting down or ceasing to operate. It's also sometimes referred to as "retiring a business".

It essentially terminates the legal existence of the business by informing a few key government agencies and local units by submitting all required documentation (and paying all applicable fees)  By doing so, you can free the business from any further tax obligations.

8 Reasons why your business might need to be closed

  • Bankruptcy
  • Debt
  • Not turning in a profit / business losses
  • Poor location
  • Bad business strategy
  • Low-quality product/service
  • Lower demand for the industry
  • Unforeseen events (pandemic, natural disasters, etc.,)

Why is it important to properly close a business?

As the registered owner, if you fail to close your business properly, you could face a number of legal issues and tax liabilities.

As mentioned earlier, you can't simply stop operating. If your business is still registered, your business is still operational in the eyes of the law.

When closing down your company, consulting services can prove helpful, but entrepreneurs need to be aware of things they should and should not do.

This includes properly informing both employees and suppliers/partners about their intentions so that any outstanding dues can be settled and other obligations fulfilled before the company is deemed as officially closed.

Here are the possible penalties for failing to close a business:

  • Criminal and civil penalties (tax audit issues)

  • Compromise penalties stemming from open cases

  • Fees and other penalties from the LGU

How long does it take to close a business?

In the Philippines, the complete process can take anywhere from a few months to a year, possibly even more, depending on the situation.

If you have any outstanding issues (missed BIR filings, for example), expect it to take more time simply because the government needs to review and settle them all before your business can be officially recognized as non-operational.

What type of business do you have?

Before you proceed with the steps, it's important to note that the actual process may vary depending on the type of business classification you have.

For sole proprietorship:

For freelancers, self-employed individuals, freelance business owners, and similar groups,  the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) needs to be notified of your decision to cancel.

For partnerships and corporations:

For businesses, organizations, and cooperatives, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) must be notified of your cancellation of business.

1. Visit the nearest BIR office to apply for Closure of Business and Cancellation of TIN along with the following list of requirements and/or documents:

Complete List of Philippine Mobile Network Prefixes 2021

If you ever wondered which network a specific mobile number belongs to, look no further. In this article, we'll provide an easy Mobile Network Checker updated for 2021 (including DITO's prefixes).

A Pinoy's Quick Guide to Mobile Phone Numbers

There are currently four major mobile operators in the country – Globe Telecom Inc., PLDT Incorporated, Smart Communications Corporation, and DITO Telecommunity. The other mobile network providers include TM, TNT, Cherry Prepaid, and ABS-CBN Mobile. Each company operates its own mobile service under different brands but all use GSM technology.

There are two types of mobile number prefixes - national and regional. National prefixes cover all areas while regional prefixes cover only specific regions.

In addition, there are also some special mobile networks that have been created specifically for certain purposes like emergency calls and government agencies. These include 999, 911 and 112.

A mobile number prefix represents the first four digits of the 11-digit mobile number. A prefix identifies to which mobile network a particular number belongs, e.g. Smart, Globe, Sun Cellular, or DITO.

For example, the mobile phone number 09457734633 has a phone number prefix of 0945---it's under Globe Telecom's network.

This knowledge is handy since it allows you to avoid paying extra charges from calling a mobile phone number under a different network, thus letting you maximize the call and text promos under your preferred network.

Additionally, if I am roaming abroad, say in Europe, then knowing my local mobile operator can help me get better rates on calls and data usage. Knowing your own carrier allows you to avoid being charged extra fees when making international calls. It helps you save money by avoiding long distance charges.
